Snow Leopard: First impressions

- Reclaimed 10GB of disk space
- Safari much faster
- Finder much snappier
- SBBOD™ rarely appears

- Adobe GoLive CS2 menus changed to a dark grey
- Epson Stylus C82 wireless printing broken
- Not much else really

Yep - Snow Leopard is faster, but I have found quite a few Apps crash when saving.

Preview (Apple) has crashed quite a few times and also Quark Xpress 7.5 has quite a few crashes.

Even iCal has thrown a few wobblies lately.

My Canon i-Sensys LBP3370 A4 Laser printer is no longer able to be printed to. Snow Leopard deleted the printer when installing and Canon have not released updated driver/installer package. This printer is only 3 months old, so should be supported for a while yet?

Apart from that, happy that I upgraded :-)

oh, yes, you reminded me... my epson c82 won't print wirelessly any more... will add to 'cons' list...

I've found it to be really good. The only problem I've had so far is that the MySQLdb library for Python doesn't compile but I was moving to PostgreSQL anyway so it's not a big deal.

I'm happy that the default python install is 2.6 and that all my apps still work just fine :)

Biggest bonus? FastCGI is installed already on the apache server and I just needed to enable it :)
