One of my favourite children's books is Maurice Sendak’s 'Where the Wild Things Are'. After a number of delays Spike Jonze is bringing it to the big screen.
The trailer is available here, with Arcade Fire's 'Wake Up' providing a wonderful bittersweet aural backdrop.

Boy; I don't know. The hints at a richer backstory look good... but in the book, Max is precisely as cartoony as the wild things. The wolf suit helps, but some of the shots of the wild things, especially of them running, make me think this is going to be a tough sell.
You're just bitter cos your parents never bought you one of those cool rabbit suits!
