Amigurmi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures.
Sammi Resendes designs and crochets Amigurumi dolls. Apparently these Star Wars ones were very hard to make.
And yes, yes, yes... the light saber and blaster weren't crocheted. Sammi's boyfriend made them for her.
