Hard drive storage keeps getting cheaper

The first hard drive I purchased was for a Macintosh Plus. It was 20 megabytes, and cost me £600.

Reg Hardware has just reviewed four 1 Terabyte hard drives. That's 50,000 times the capacity of my first drive.

And the well-reviewed Seagate drive costs just £150 (OK, add an enclosure and make it £200). At my reckoning that means that hard drive storage is now 150,000 times cheaper than it was 20 years ago.
