I'm sorry for my playlist's appalling lack of 'accuracy'. However, I was surprised not to see Rihanna's 'Umbrella' in your 'most played' list.

Not to say bad about the playlist or musical tastes... but your "most played" reads like a recent Radio 1 playlist. ;)

However, you have made me curious as to what mine is, so here goes.

The District Sleeps Alone Tonight - The Postal Service
Norwegian Wood - Victor Wooten
Mario Kart 64 Rainbow Snowland OC ReMix - Dhsu
A Thousand Miles - Vanessa Carlton
Breathe - Telepopmusik
A Kiss To Build A Dream On - Louie Armstrong
Band of Brothers - Michael Kamen
Storms In Africa - Enya
Mad World - Gary Jules
Snow - See-Saw
Little Wing - Jimi Hendrix
Everytime We Touch [Radio Mix] - Cascada
Hold Your Colour - Pendulum
Objection - Shakira
Benson Arizona - John Yager

When your favourite song of all time is Dollar's 'Mirror Mirror' the question of musical taste is ALWAYS an issue :-). However, the reason for the high 'Radio 1' content is probably due to a mixture of 'Kidz Playlist' on my regular trips to and from Lincoln, and the fact that Radio 1 nicks all the poppier stuff from 6Music (best radio station ever :-).

One of the issues I have to address is that many of the songs I like have only been listened to a couple of times, because I am always adding new music to my collection.

BTW, good to see Telepopmusik, Boards of Canada and Postal Service in your list.

Not so sure about Enya and Vanessa Carlton though ;-)

Enya was a mistake (don't we all say that?), and I've no idea where Ms. Carlton came from...

But as for the synth bands, they're a must. There's something about bizarre tracks and 8-bit retro riffs that really make the days easier.

Also, I recommend the Pendulum track listed up there to you, not because it's a track that grabbed me by the head and shook me inside out through the sheer awesomeness, but because Pendulum are a drum and bass group that actually perform with guitars, drumkits and microphones, rather than vinyls.

Wot, no Dylan or Cash. It's about time you regained control of your iPod on your trips to Lincoln
